Well, we finally have our Wacken tickets in our hot little hands (ok… stuck up on the whiteboard with a magnet). It was a bit of a process though: we first ordered them as soon as humanly possible, back in early September, but our card wasn’t charged. When it finally DID get charged, we got an email from MetalTix saying there was a problem with the card and our order was canceled – despite the fact that AUD ~$760 had been taken out of our account! Needless to say we were losing our minds and it took a few emails back and forth to get it sorted. I didn’t really believe that it was all finalized until we went to the post office and picked up the package.
The line up is fleshing out nicely and I’ll be posting some thoughts on some of those bands soon.
But what I’m really waiting for is Gojira, right? Let’s get those crazy Frenchmen on the bill:
